Little Realistic...

When I read the article "Daffodil Principle" I was amazed to see how little work/day can add up to a big success. You shouldn't wait for a perfect day to start when u've an idea. No matter how small the idea is water it. Let it grow no matter how slow. The happiness u reap everyday in doing what u imagine with ur eyes wide open is incredible. This story inspired me to grow plants. I brought the first rose plant home on the day of Ramjan. I remember it so well 'coz that day I went to office, discovered an unexpected holiday on the account of Ramjan. Naturally, was very happy. On my way back home I found a bunch of saplings. Out of which a rose plant looked serene with a tiny baby pink flower. That was the start. I would water it everyday. Closely watch the sprout. One fine day the plant smiled with a rose. I realised how simple it was to grow plants. All you need is a plant and a pot (yep, soil in it). Water it twice a day. Eventually u'll see fresh flowers ...

ಹರಿವ ನೀರು ತಿಳಿಯಂತೆ. ಹಾಗೇ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಕೂಡ. ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೊಸತನಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ಬರೆದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಬರಹಗಳ ಹಳೇ ಕಂತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ತೆರೆದಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ವಿಚಾರ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆ ಓದಿ. ನಾನು ಬರೆದಿರುವುದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ. ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಬೆಳಕು ಹರಿಯಲೆಂಬ ಬಯಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು. ************** Life; so beautiful We've the choice And we'll choose to be happy Misery isn't life, it's just time We know it'll change Even if it doesn't, we will It's life that's beautiful Laugh with a feather light heart It's just another day after all Life isn't about destiny Let's celebrate the journey Less known may it be ************* You know the most beautiful thing about imagination? it sets ur mind free. Am calm as if I found something after a long haul, as if my brain was crowded with confusing thoughts all these days, n they r settling down now. Away from the crowd within, am trying to embrace the silence. The time i lose myself in my thoughts is the best time spent. For a while i don't wish to be known by anyone. For a while i want to be there as if am not there. I want some peace with myself for a while.I want some time to feel guilty and apologize for not giving enough time to listen to myself, for neglecting "YOU" dear "I". ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಬಿಂದಿಗೆ ಹೂವು ಕಂಡದ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ. ಮೊದಲು ಕ್ಯಾಮರ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ಕಿಸುವ ಎಂದು ಹೋದರೆ ಮಳೆ. ಸರಿ, ಛತ್ರಿ ತಂದು ಕ್ಲಿಕ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದ ಫೋಟೋಗಳು ಬ್ಲರ್. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಳೆ-ಗಾಳಿ ಎರಡರ ತೊಂದರೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಕೆ ಹೂವಿಗೂ ಛತ್ರಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕಾಯ್ತು. You go to an ATM. Draw 15,000/- in the evening. Next day you take 2000/- out of 15,000/- , go to the same same bank to deposit. Mr. Banker wouldn't accept a 500 rs note saying that it's fake. Bank manager will not take responsibility for such notes unless you prove that it's been drawn from the same Bank's ATM. What do you do? I'm not telling you a story. This has happened with my neighbor and could happen to anybody. So the lesson is, be attentive at the ATMs too. Cross check notes with the denomination 500 and 1000s. If you have any better ways to deal with such situations please do leave a note.
